Privacy Policy

How Memnai collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

Effective date: February 14, 2026

In a Nutshell

  • We collect your email, display name, and usage data to run the service
  • Your database credentials are encrypted at rest and never logged
  • AI providers only see your prompt and schema metadata — never your raw data or credentials
  • Query results are ephemeral — not stored unless you save a dashboard
  • We never sell your data and do not use advertising cookies
  • You can request full account and data deletion at any time

1. Introduction

Mythic Works LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Mythic Works”) operates Memnai (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

By accessing or using Memnai, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials managed through AWS Cognito.

Organization information. We store the name of your workspace and associate it with your account.

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and device/browser metadata.

Data source metadata. When you connect a database or API, we store connection configuration (host, port, database name, API base URL). Credentials are encrypted at rest and never logged.

Query content. We process the natural-language questions you submit and the generated SQL or HTTP requests in order to provide the Service. Query results are not stored beyond your session unless you explicitly save a dashboard.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Generate queries and dashboards from your prompts
  • Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized analytics
  • Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. We employ encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive data including database credentials and API keys.

We follow industry best practices for access control, including role-based permissions, audit logging, and the principle of least privilege. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., AWS for hosting, Cognito for authentication)
  • AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) to process natural-language queries — only prompt content is transmitted, never your raw data or credentials
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law or valid legal process

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Query results are ephemeral and not persisted beyond your session. Saved dashboards are retained until you delete them or close your account. Audit logs are retained for 90 days by default.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@memnai.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@memnai.com.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Memnai uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics, if enabled, use anonymized, aggregated data.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
